This evening I got something very new to eat with my puppy food: I got a slice of natural food. I got a slice of meat from the brand “Duck”.
Jessica and her sister had a whole history with a previous dog who was picky with his food and couldn’t digest dog scraps. So they ended up with natural food and the raw meat diet, which has proven some good results for that dog.
So, this experience made Jessica decide that when I’m grown up I also will switch to the raw meat diet and natural food.
In the late afternoon, she gave me a little piece to see how I would react. I totally loved it from the first moment. I liked the taste a lot, so when the time came for my evening dinner I was going crazy. I was so busy being sloppy while eating my dinner, that some of my food ended up in my drinking bowl ^_^
But I can’t wait ’till tomorrow to get a new slice of Duck. It’s just so yummy ^_^

It was very hot today and this was why I didn’t had a lot of energy. But Jessica found it the perfect time to go to the shops and learn my how to behave in them.
So we first went to “Tom & Co.”, a pet store. They don’t sell pets there, only toys and food for pets. They have these electric sliding doors and I wasn’t to keen on those. I was a bit afraid, but in the end I went through them.
When we passed the rack with the dog biscuits I smelled all of these nice cookies and I didn’t want to move any further. But in the end I gave in because Jessica tricked me along by holding out a treat in front of me (but she also bought some puppy cookies for me ^_^).
After that we went to the rack with the dog food of Royal Canin and Jessica bought a bag of puppy food.
When we came at the register, there was another customer in front of us. And after everybody had paid, they all started playing with me a bit.
When we left the store, we went back to the car and left the errand in the car. There she gave me another treat for being such a good boy in the shop.
The next store was a dvd shop. On the floor there’s only carpet there. That was very weird. I sniffed the whole time we were there. The shop keeper was laughing at me while I was walking there. I sneezed a bit form the dust of the carpet and that made Jessica laugh as well.
When we left the shop, it was getting more hot and Jessica decided to go back home.

Since I wouldn’t stay put the last time Jessica’s mother wanted to mop the floor, they decided to give me a daily training for staying put in my basket. They do this because I won’t be put in a bench and instead I have a basket.
But the little devil I am, of course I don’t cooperate ^_^
During the training I keep getting out of the basket. I don’t like the word “training”. I see it more like a game in which they put my in a place and I have to try to escape without them noticing.
The first person who started this “training” with my is Jessica’s mother. After I while I didn’t like the game and started biting her. So Jessica decided to take over and then I was as innocent as a little angel ^_^ So later in the day, Jessica’s mother tried the training again, but again I was a little devil and started biting her. But then Jessica stept in again and started giving her mother some tips of how to train me and now it isn’t that fun anymore. I can’t play the little devil anymore.

I added more pictures yesterday and today. You can now find pictures from Eiji playing with toys and treats, during a walk in the grass and wearing his harnass for the first time.

Since the vet was on holidays last week, we went to the vet today.
Jessica decided to put my harnass on; because we are going to her sister next week for a sleeping over party and I then I will have that harnass on for a couple of hours while she driving. She uses that harnass to click me on the seat belt, so that I’m also protected in the car.
But I really didn’t like that harnass. I kept trying to pull it of. But it didn’t work. We walked to the vet and during that walk I also had to wear the harnass. It’s just something really strange.
At the vet, there was no one in the waiting area and I kept sniffing around. There are lots of different smells there from animals I haven’t seen yet.
When it was our turn, I was put on the examination table and the vet checked my ears, eyes, coat, teeth, genitalea and tattoo. Jessica is even thinking about chipping me (that scares me a bit, because I heard it can hurt). Then they put my on the scale. For the moment I weigh 3.9 kg. They had to know my weight for the pill I had to take against worms.
It wasn’t to bad at the vet and the veterinarian himself is very gentle.

Today was a day that Jessica’s mother cleans the house. She started upstairs and finishes with vacuuming the stairs. I was a bit afraid of the vacuum, but I didn’t want to let anybody notice. So when she came downstairs and placed the vacuum in the hall, I went to it and started biting it. But that didn’t help a lot.
When she started in the kitchen doing the dishes from today, she wanted to let me learn where my basket is. But I didn’t listen ^_^ I kept running out of it during the whole time.
When she started moping the floor, she placed my in the kitchen. The baby fence that divides the kitchen from the living room is a bit old and almost demolished by Jessica’s previous dogs. So it didn’t take me any time to escape from the kitchen and started running around the living area. But it was all slippery and I could run strait. Jessica’s mother kept chasing me and I kept running away. That was lot’s of fun ^_^

Today was a day I wanted to see how far I could go before I would get punished. I started with biting the doormat. I used a little disguising trick for this. I pretended to play with my cotton rope and carried it to the mat and then I laid down on it and pretended to be biting in the rope. But of course I wasn’t biting the rope but the mat instead ^_^
When we were out for a walk I refused to go forward and just kept sitting or laying down or playing grass reaping-machine. On when we then finally got back home, I went in a frenzy and run around the living room attacking my toys ^_^
In the afternoon, Jessica had to go to hear grand mother to deliver her groceries and I tagged along. There I sniffed around for a while and then I slept there for the time we were there.
On the way back home I saw a very noisy motor cycle and was a bit scared. But after that I was feeling energetic and decided to start walking like a big dog. Jessica was very pleased with that and she rewarded me time and time again. At home I even got a very taste dog biscuit as a reward for my good behaviour.
But for the rest of the evening there are games to play and toys to attack ^_^

Today was again I had to experience some new things. But we started the day like we ended it yesterday.
Me and Jessica were playing fetch and went for a couple of walks. During the walks I can walk steady with her, but when I see grass I just want to play little grass reaping-machine ^_^
In the afternoon, we were supposed to go to the veterinarian, but when we arrived at his office, we saw that he was on holiday ’till Sunday. So the trip to the vet is postponed untill Monday.
Instead, Jessica decided to go to a little community grass area where kids often play. When we arrived there, there weren’t a lot of kids, and the ones who were there, were playing basket ball. Those orange balls make such funny noises when they bounce and when the kids played hoops I got a little scared when they missed and the ball was coming in my direction. But after a while I got used to the noise and I watched them intensively. They started a little game and were running around and suddenly I got the urge to play with them, but Jessica wouldn’t let me T_T
Suddenly I heard a hedge cutting machine, but that wasn’t scary at all. I just looked at the men who was busy with his hedge, but that wasn’t very interesting. I also heared a grass reaping-machine, but still I prefer playing when myself ^_^
After an hour sitting there and playing in the grass with a couple of kids, Jessica decided to take me to the other end of the community area where there is a little children’s play garden. First, she put my on top of a little slide. The surface was a little slippery, but I just sat at the top and didn’t move. She took me from it and just a little bit above at the end of the slide, she put me down and so I got to go on my first slide. I liked it but it’s still a weird thing. I tried to go up to were she placed my first, but that wasn’t possible. I just slided back again to the end. That was scary and not very pleasant.
After that, we played a little bit more in the grass untill I fell asleep. Then Jessica carried my home. When we arrived home, I wasn’t sleepy anymore. So we played untill I got sleepy.
Today’s Friday, so this means that Jessica is in charge for fixing dinner for the whole family. So when she started cooking, she placed my on my blanket and said I had to stay there. Of course I didn’t want to do that, so I kept running to her and sit between her legs. Then she had to stop with making dinner and place me back on my blanket. She doesn’t want to have my near when she’s keeping and I don’t understand why. But then her parents got home and they played with me while she completed preparing dinner.
After dinner we went for another walk. I met this little Charles King Spaniel who was very scared. But I wasn’t shure how close I could get before he would run away so I just looked at him and sniffed from afar. After this meeting I was very happy and during the rest of the walk I kept hopping around and this made Jessica and passer-bys.
At home we played a little bit until I was getting very sleepy.

Eiji also wrote his daily events again for today. He was quite the rascal today and was very funny at times.

On the 24th at 8:30pm I came home. I was very nervous and was looking everywhere around.
In the meantime, Jessica, my owner, was fixing my dinner and laying out some news paper for me. After sniffing around for a bit, I decided to eat and drink (I was very hungry because I hadn’t had anything to eat since the lunch).
10 minutes after dinner, I went out for a little walk. It was raining a lot and I got wet. I found it a lot of fun jumping in the water. There were also a couple of scary noises, but I wasn’t afraid that much.
When we got back home, I was dryed off and then I played a little bit. But I was getting very sleepy, so they decided that it was time for me to go to bed. In the beginning I tried to escape (I sleep in the kitchen that is closed off with a baby fence), but they were to clever and had taken precautions. So it was impossible for me. So I tried crying a bit, but I didn’t get any response from them. After a while, I got bored, so I decided to go to sleep.
So when I woke up the next morning, it was already 8:00 am, I tried to test my owners by going to the bathroom in the living area instead on the news paper before they could go out with me. But they just cleaned it up and placed my on the news paper.
Then I got my breakfast and soon after that I went out for my first walk in full day light. That was a lot scarier then the evening before. There were cars driving around, people were throwing things in vans, working in their house,… But I also found some fun things: little puddle pools to walk through, leaves dancing in the wind, a lot of new smells,…
After my walk, I was very tired, so I decided to sleep a bit. Around 11:00am, Jessica woke me up and we went shopping for a new collar (the one she bought was a size to large), a harness for in the car and some more food for me. I was a little to excited in the shop and I just didn’t want to try on the harness (that some weird thing I had never seen before in my life and I had to put my paw through it and it was just so weird ^_~ ).
When we got back home, she put the new collar on and made it fit to the right size and then it was again the turn for the harness. After that I still was a little bit sleepy from this morning, so I decided to sleep a little bit more.
In the afternoon, I decided I wanted to play a little. So Jessica gave me a cotton rope and we started playing tug. After a while she started throwing the toy away. So I just run after it and returned it back. That was a lot of fun. I got a lot of hugs for that so I wanted to play that a little bit longer. We played like this for about a half hour and then I was getting tired from running around the whole time. So I just took the rope and went to lay down in the hallway. But after a while, I just fell asleep.
Later that afternoon, after I woke up we went for another walk and visited Jessica’s grandmother. The first thing I did when we entered her flat was going to the bathroom in the kitchen. Her grandmother found that very funny. While we were there, I was looking around a bit and then I also slept for a half hour.
When we got back home, I ate a bit but I wasn’t very hungry. I wanted to play more with the rope (I just love that toy).
For the rest of the evening, I just played and slept. But now I off, I just to sleepy and I want to go to bed.
