I uploaded the pictures from the visit to Mol. The only pictures that are missing are the ones to the zoo. I’m hoping that my sister’s computer will be fixed by the end of the week and then I will be able to get the pictures. I will then place them on the site.
In the early moring I went for a walk with Jessica to Raversijde. It’s a beautiful place there with lots of grass, water and sand.
Since it was still early, the grass was still wet from the rain and I was quickly getting wet. But I kept walking in the grass and when we got to some sand, I got really excited. I was jumping around, playing tag with Jessica and chasing bugs ^_^
When we walked a little bit further, we passed a little stream. Ducks were swimming in it and when they saw they were scared and swam away fast. I wasn’t very interested in the ducks. They just make a lot of noise.
Since I fell in the water a couple of days ago, I’m not to keen on streams and I just stay at the shore of them. Jessica noticed this and came up with a plan.
When we got to the next stream, we used the bridge to cross it. We came to a place were the grass was growing high and the walk pad was very slim. And on the pad there were a lot of water puddles. Jessica stopped at those puddles and starting playing with the water. This made me very enthousiastic and I started playing with the water too. That was lots of fun and I forgot my fear for the water. When we crossed the stream on another bridge, I also started to get interested in the ducks and I wanted to go play with them, but Jessica wouldn’t let me T_T
When it was time to return, we started to meet others who were walking there. We saw joggers, bikers, soldiers in training,… And we also met some dogs. Some were barking at me and others just ignored me. But I was really impressed by one dog. He was just so big. I’ve never seen a dog that big. After we met, Jessica told me that the bid dog was an Irish Wolfhound. I really wanted to play with that dog, but the owner of the Irish Wolfhound didn’t want that.
To console me, Jessica gave me a yummy smoke-dried lam bone when we arrived home. When I finished that bone, I was really tired and I went to sleep.
Today was like always. Playing around, going out for walks and sleeping. So I’m going to tell you about some of my habits I’m starting to create.
Lets start with the good habits. ^_~
One of the things I like to do is playing fetch. But it depends on the toy. I only want to return the toy to Jessica if it is a cotton rope.
When I play with toys and the toys make sound, then you can be shure that you will also hear me. I start barking and growling to the toy. This makes Jessica laugh.
Also, when I get something to eat that I haven’t eating before, then I first play with it. I toss it around and bark to it. After a while I calm down and eat it.
Before we go out for a walk, I have to sit so that Jessica can put on my collar and slate link. In the beginning, she had to force me and told me a command, but now I do it without having her to tell me.
And now for the bad habits.
While putting on the collar and slate link, I always try to bite the slate link. I just like to bite in it.
Another habit is something that Jessica’s parents don’t like. I only intend to listen to Jessica and when I do something that isn’t allowed, I won’t quit it untill Jessica comes barging in and prohibits me.
Well, that’s all for my habits.
As you can see, I made a new layout for the site. I think this one is a lot cuter than the previous one. I hope you like it ^_^
For the newt couple of days I will constantly add pictures from Eiji during his visit and his many experiences. The only pictures that won’t be on it are from him on the horse riding school.
The pictures of the zoo will come online with a little delay. Those were put on Katinka’s laptop, but the computer’s adapter was broken and they had to order a new one.
After the 4 day visit to Katinka and her pets, I wasn’t really energetic today. Most of the day I slept.
But in the afternoon, I had to go to the vet to get my shot. I behaved myself and I also got weight again. I’ve grown since the visit 10 days ago. I weigh now 5.10 kg.
But that was the only thing we both did today. Of course, we went out for my walks, but they were shorter that normal and at home I played a little bit, before going back to sleep.
This is the last day of the visit and before Jessica and I go back home, we went to the Sahara with Katinka. The Sahara is a place in Turnhout. It’s a forest with in the center a big lake and sand around it. In that forest I got to walk without a slate link. It was a very big like and I started to play in the sand. I started my first real dig ^_^
After playing in the sand, we started walking around the lake and sometimes I barked to the lake. Shunka and Sammy even swam in the lake, but I’m a little bit to young for that. But then it happened…
When Shunka suddenly ran towards me, I wanted to run away from her to play but I didn’t realize which directing I started running. So before I knew it I was … in the lake!!!!
I was totally shocked and started peddling very fast with my paws. Katinka was the most close to the lake, so she helped. When I got back on land again, Jessica and Katinka started laughing. I was completely wet. When I calmed down a bit, we went further on our walk and soon I was dry again, but very tired. So Jessica and Katinka started carrying me again by turn.
We were back at Katinka’s house by noon and after a little break, Jessica and I went back home.
This is the 3rd day of my visit and today we went to Antwerp. But to get there, we didn’t go by car, we went by train!
This was my first time on the train. When Katinka was going to by the tickets, I waited outside with Jessica. Apparently you also have to pay for dogs on the train, but since I still am small and a puppy, Jessica didn’t have to pay for me.
Jessica also didn’t let me go on the train by myself, she carried me on the train (I still to small to take those train steps). On the train, I wasn’t afraid at all. I want to lay down under the seat and slept all the way to Antwerp.
When we arrived at Antwerp, we went to the shopping streets and walked around there for a couple of hours. When I got too tired, Jessica or Katinka carried me. During the trip, again people kept asking questions about me. Some even took pictures of me. It’s funny to hear when people walk by and somebody asks which breed I am, some think that I’m a Siberian husky or a chow chow.
When we went back home, we again took the train. But before getting on the train, Jessica and Katinka showed me something new: a role staircase. Jessica went on it and took me with her. It’s funny. You go up without having to move around ^_^
On the way back in the train, I again slept all the way.
After all that, the day wasn’t over yet. Katinka and her boy friend went to the horse riding school and Jessica and I went along. They had a surprise for me there. While Katinka and Tom went in the dressage area with their horses, Jessica and I went along in that area. Jessica placed me on the ground and I started sniffing around. I also went a bit closer to the horses. When Katinka and Tom had mounted their horse, Jessica and I left the area and watched by the side. But on the side were the stables and some of the horses were also watching. After a while Jessica picked me up and went closer to the stables. One of the horses wanted to smell me and I wanted to sniff him. But when we were like 15cm apart from eachother, I got a little bit scared. So Jessica decided that I did my best and rewarded me.
By the end of the lesson, I fell asleep in Jessica’s arms and stayed like that ’till she put me in the car to go back to Katinka’s house.
Today we went to the market in Mol in the morning. There were lot’s of people there and everybody was very nice.
People stopped before me and asked questions about me and they even touched me. I also saw a lot of different things there. The stands were selling all different kinds of stuff. Some things smelled better than others ^_^
During our walk on the market, I also saw some dogs I didn’t know and I also got to see a guide dog for the blind in training. I was very curious about this dog and he was very interested in me. So I went over to that dog. With the dog there were also 2 persons, a blind person and a person who was teaching the blind person how to handle the dog. The blind person was very interested in me and she also touched me. Then she said I was very soft and asked Jessica some questions about me.
In the afternoon I could rest a little bit, but then it was time for Katinka to go to dog school to give Doggy dance lessons. So we went together to the school.
The school is located in a horse riding school. And now I got to see a new animal: the horse. At first I was a little scared about the horses, but Jessica stroke one of the horses and then let me smell her hand. The horses have a smell I didn’t know before and I started to move closer and closer to the horses. But then we had to go to the side of the school for the lesson.
While Katinka was giving the lesson, I saw 2 other dogs on the side and I decided to act as a little devil. I started to lure the dogs to me and make them a bit wild. The owner of the dogs had a little bit trouble to control the dogs, but in the end he had to laugh with my behaviour. After the lessons, I played with the dogs that were there.
