It’s been a long time since I went to hydrotherapy. In January I couldn’t go because of my paw or due to the weather conditions. But today it was finally that moment again.
I was so happy to be able to swim again. But before going swimming, Katinka found it necessary to first go bike riding and running in the woods with Shunka and me. When we finally got back home, Shunka and we only got 45 minutes to rest before going outside for a quick walk with Jessica and then going to the hydrotherapie.
I really enjoyed it and was having a lot of fun. I swam a lot and I didn’t even let Shunka bother me. I just love swimming and catching ball at the same time. But I’ve got to tell you that I was very tired when I got home and really hungry. So I quickly ate my dinner and now I’m off to bed.

This evening during the walk I suddenly saw something strange sitting on the curb. It was dark outside and so I walked slowly towards it and Shunka and Jessica were looking too. Suddenly Jessica pulled me away.
It was a chicken sleeping there. I’ve seen chickens before, but never on the street. I wanted to play with it, but I wasn’t allowed and had to keep walking.

Shunka was very mean this evening. When she come to my house with Katinka she first asked for attention from Jessica and her father so that they would ignore me. But I wouldn’t allow it and pushed myself in between.
A little bit later Katinka gave Shunka a bit of beef and the pouch with the rest of the beef was given to me. Even before I could even take a bite out of the beef, Shunka started growling to me and because she’s the leader I let go. She immediately took the pouch away to eat the rest of it. I was very shocked and looked very sad. Jessica saw this and took the pouch from Shunka and divided the rest of the beef between to two of us.

Today I made Jessica and her father do what I wanted and at first they didn’t even notice it.
Just when Jessica’s father was getting ready to go to work (around 3 o’clock in the morning), I started acting like I really had to go outside for something. Her father didn’t want to wake her, so ran with me (even without a leash) outside so that I could do what I wanted. But all I did was pie a little.
Around 3:45, Jessica’s father had left by then, I started howling so much that Jessica became awake and come downstairs. She put me outside, because she thought I had to go really bad, but I just went in a sitting mode and watched her. So took me back inside because she thought that I just was wrong with the hour and went back to bed. Not even 5 minutes later, I started howling again. Jessica put on her clothes and came back downstairs and went for a walk with me. Again I just sniffed around and pied a bit. Jessica did notice that I was very alert and reacted on any sound we heard and that my sniffing was more intense than normal. But because it was still so early in the morning she didn’t reacted on it.
By the time we got home it was 4:30 and Jessica didn’t see the point going back to bed because normally she gets up at 6 o’clock. So she took a movie and watched it. After the movie she went outside again with me before going to work.
In the evening when everyone was home, Jessica and her father were talking about this morning and suddenly they made the connection. There must be a bitch in heat in the area and I wanted to go outside to search for her because I sniffed it in the grass the night before. Jessica found it funny but on the other hand she was angry because without the knowledge she awarded my behaviour.
But I can tell you that I didn’t care, because I got to do what I wanted without any consequences.

Today it’s market day and I went to the market. As always, I’m getting a lot of attention but today I wanted some more.
At one of the local bread shops, I used my best charms to get a piece of bacon by sitting right in front of the counter and look like a cute and hungry keeshond. And it worked!
While going back from the market, we went back through the forest. And there I saw a man throwing some bread to the ducks. And I wanted to try it again. So I went to sit right to the man and looked up to him with my head a little tilted and kept on looking. The man started laughing and gave me a piece of bread because I was such a good looking boy and was behaving very good.

Today I went on a 30km walk with Shunka and Katinka.
It was very cold, but Katinka had Shunka and me put on our scarfs. It was an organized walk so there were lots of people around and many of them were looking at me. Some found it funny and other found it cute. People were getting warm looking at me and even commented on it.
But for me the scarf was sometimes annoying and it came always loose. Katinka thought that was funny, but she had to put the scarf back on every time. Shunka didn’t have that problem, because her scarf is one that is like a collar. Mine is more like what people wear.
I really enjoyed the walk in the cold, but I can tell you that I was glad to be home, because there I could get warmer and get cuddled by Jessica and eats cookies ^_^

It’s that time of year again. It’s freezing and that means the city is sprinkling salt in the streets. And for me that mean pads that hurt because salt is sticking in my hair between the pads. So after every walk my paws have to be cleaned with water.
If it isn’t done with water, I would like my paws myself, but Jessica doesn’t allow that. She’s afraid that I’m going to have a tummy ache and be a very sad little kees again. So she cleans it becomes it comes that far.
