In the early evening I went for a walk with Shunka and Katinka. We were going to the beach, but it ended a bit sooner than expected.
We weren’t five minutes on the beach and suddenly two whippets come running towards me and started attacking me. Katinka, Shunka and I were very surprised and I did my best to defend myself and Katinka tried to catch them, but they were very quick. Katinka suddenly remembered she had Shunka’s ball in her pocket and took it out and threw it to the dogs. She hit one of them and the run off.
Katinka wanted to take my leash, so she could keep me close, but she had just taken it in her hands and the two whippets were back for another round, but this time Katinka could hit one of them with the hatch of my leash on his leg and they both were very surprised by it and decided to turn around.
The owner of the two dogs finally came closer (he was to far away at first) and started to scream at Katinka for hurting his dogs. Katinka became very angry and said that he should keep them on a leash, because they almost had hurt my left eye. When Katinka took a closer look, she found to wounds and one of them was a bit scary. She decided to call the vet (even though it was after hours) and told the story. The vet told her to take me home and clean the wounds and my eye. If the wound was to deep, I could come in to get it stitched.
While we were walking home, we met Jessica’s house doctor and told him the story. He took a look at the wounds and told her they didn’t need any stitches. That was a relief for Katinka and me.
When we finally got home, I was so excited to see Jessica that she almost didn’t had a change to take a look at the wounds. But she took me to the kitchen with Katinka and they cleaned my eye and put some disinfectant on it. For being a good boy, I received some yummy doggy sausages and then went on a short walk with Jessica and Shunka.
Today I went on a walk in the morning with Katinka and Shunka. I had a lot of fun running around and playing with Shunka.
In the afternoon, I was supposed to go for a walk with Jessica and Shunka, but my morning walk sabotaged it. When I’ve rested after my morning walk for about an hour, I wanted to get up and follow Jessica and suddenly my right paw was hurting like hell and I almost couldn’t walk on it. Jessica examined my paw and couldn’t find anything at first, but later she discovered a cut on one of my pads. So she decided to let me rest and not to overwork my paw. I was sad about it, and even more so when she went for a long walk with Shunka in the evening, but when she got home with my food, I was very happy.
But Jessica wanted to take me for a little walk first. Because I was so happy I forgot where the cupboard was and I hit my head against it. Jessica saw that I kept an eye fairly closed and demanded that I went back in the living room so she could examine my eye. Result: I have a small cut just above my eye. It was very close to my eye and Jessica immediately cleaned my eye and stopped the blood from running in my eye. After that I was reprimanded and went for a small walk. And then I finally got my dinner. I’m now off to bed very quickly, because I don’t want to get hurt any more today and tomorrow I’m supposed to go after my world animal day treats ^_^
After almost completing my tablet course against worms, I can only say that I didn’t had any more since the first day. It was probably a small infection and nothing serious, but now Katinka has a new nickname for me: little worm!
But I don’t understand why she says that and why suddenly she kept talking about my butt the whole time. You know, people can sometimes act weird.
When I was walking outside today and did my necessary things, Jessica suddenly started looking funny and began studying my p**. Then she suddenly started swearing and cleaned up everything and event took grass so that not even a tiny speck was left behind and dropped everything in the waste basket. She saw something white moving and recognized it as worms…
So later, I had to go to the vet, but he was on holiday and that meant going to the pharmacy to get tablets. Now I have to take 2 tablets a day for five days to be sure that I don’t have any more.
The strangest thing is that we don’t know how I could gotten those worms so we started thinking very hard and couldn’t come up with anything. I probably picked it up somewhere without noticing.
I don’t get why people are complaining. I love this summer! Not to many extreme hot days, not to much intensive sun and a good breeze. What else do you want? I don’t get to hot, my allergies and hay fever aren’t to bad and I can walk a lot during the day.
So what that it rains a couple days, I love walking in the rain and after the rain shower everything smells great. I love to roll in the wet grass and it feels so relaxing. Why isn’t every summer like this one?
After sleeping for almost a week at Katinka’s house I start to feel tired. At night Ravi sometimes comes to me to play which keeps me up and during the day (when Jessica’s at work) I go on long walks with Shunka and Katinka. And I start feeling it. Whenever I see Jessica I’m very happy, but after five minutes of cuddling I’m falling asleep.
This evening when Shunka, Jessica and I arrived at Katinka’s house after our walk, Jessica just left me there and she went away. I don’t like that. I want to go home with her.
But on the other hand, now I have Shunka all to myself all evening long ^_^
I’m so sleepy!!! The cats keep coming at night!!
But on the other hand I’m happy, because I get to sleep with Jessica, something I couldn’t do at home. And every morning I wake her up by licking her face ^_^
Starting today, me and Jessica will be staying at Katinka’s house because she’s on a trip for a week. I couldn’t go with Katinka due to my hay fever.
So this means, not listening to anyone (except Jessica, but I can handle her) ^_^
I can’t wait. This means playing with the cats, getting lots of attention in the evening and sleeping whenever I like. And a whole week of rest because I don’t have to go on walks with Katinka.
This morning I went with Shunka and Jessica to the beach to have some fun time running through the water.
But after walking in the dunes, we went by Fort Napoleon and suddenly we heard drums. Then we saw people walking around in army costumes from around 1800 and marching around. Jessica put me and Shunka on our leash so we could pass them and suddenly when we went up another dune, they started marching after us. And one of the men started playing a drum and another a flute.
Shunka and I weren’t really comfortable and Jessica started calling us several times to make us feel at ease.
When they finally stopped following us, we ran into a group of about 20 or 30 people that was apparently split up in smaller groups, judging by the colour of their shirts. They were running around in the sand and yelling and screaming. One of them was even using a megaphone. That’s when Jessica decided to get out of the dunes and directly went to the beach.
Shunka and I were playing their with some water toys, when after a while we saw the group back and they also went on the beach. And then we saw that a couple of persons were using a megaphone and were yelling through it so Shunka and I could hardly hear Jessica anymore. So we went back in the dunes, but it didn’t take long before we ran back into those army playing people again.
We were all getting pretty fed up with it and Jessica decided to go home. And finally we had some peace and quiet.
